The THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU Corporation implements technologically demanding projects worldwide in the Mining Technology, Construction, Production and Facility Management business segments.

To strengthen the Shaft Sinking and Drilling Division, we are looking to recruit a qualified International Project Manager (m/f/d)

Profil

Requirements:

You have a degree in mining or civil engineering or a comparable qualification.

You are distinguished by:

Several years of professional experience in (senior) project management roles in underground mining, tunnel or shaft construction
Very good verbal and written language skills in English and ideally in German
Excellent teamwork and communication skills as well as motivation, commitment, resilience and mobility
Willingness for traveling and work abroad

Aufgaben und Tätigkeiten

Tasks:

Advancing THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU GMBH's international projects strategy
Technical and commercial lead and management of the project life cycle including tender stage, contract negotiation and execution
Ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with HSEQ standards
Management of project opportunities and risks
High level of understanding of contract and claim management
Understanding the importance of project controlling
Leading stakeholder and communication management
Central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including negotiations with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
Taking an active role in shaping an international construction site team with a high degree of personal responsibility and a focus on team spirit and personal development in a fast-moving environment
